
These are hard rough small lumps on the skin caused by human papilloma virus. They are composed mainly of enlarged skin cells.
There are several types and most disappear on proper treatment.
Scratching them spreads the virus and causes more warts. They are also spread through direct contact.

Symptoms
- Appearance of white, pink or skin coloured small hard rough lumps on hands and foot.
- They could appear in groups on neck, face, chest while some appear at the edges of fingernails and toenails.
Care
- Practice good hygiene avoid sharing towels, razors etc.
- Do not try to get rid of the warts yourself by burning, cutting, etc.
